MPC4A, Nike, Corby

Hathaway delivered the roofing and cladding package for Nike’s state-of-the-art 1.3 million sq ft UK logistics campus and national supply chain hub at Magna Park Corby.

Located at GLP’s Magna Park Corby, the new 1.3 million sq ft development will form the principal hub for Nike’s UK supply chain operations and represents Nike’s first logistics facility of this type and scale in the UK.

Hathaway’s extensive external envelope package incorporates Kingspan composite roof and wall systems alongside single-skin steel cladding, architectural flashings, rainwater systems and a range of ancillary structures across the campus. The façade design combines different profiles, finishes and vertical detailing to break down the considerable scale of the building and create a distinctive architectural appearance.

Sustainability is central to the scheme, which is targeting BREEAM Outstanding and Net Zero Carbon in Construction. Hathaway’s package also incorporates green-roof elements to several ancillary buildings, while the wider development has been designed around energy efficiency, biodiversity and employee wellbeing.
