RAF Leeming is an operational military airfield in North Yorkshire, supporting Royal Air Force flying operations, training and defence activities.
In 1994, Hathaway Roofing undertook the specialist roofing package for the airfield’s Electronic Maintenance Facility, a purpose-built building supporting the station’s technical maintenance operations.
The works comprised an insulated standing seam metal roofing system with a Plastisol-coated finish, incorporating profiled liner panels, insulation and associated roof detailing. The package also included gutters, penetrations and perimeter weatherproofing, delivering a durable roofing solution within an operational military environment.
