Working with main contractor Glencar, Hathaway Roofing completed the external envelope package for the new Costco warehouse in Gloucester.
Having delivered our first Costco project at West Thurrock in 1993, Gloucester continued a long-standing track record of delivering roofing and cladding solutions for Costco developments across the UK.
The project incorporated a Euroclad Elite PLUS 3 secret-fix standing seam roof system alongside Kingspan KS1000RW composite wall cladding, together with rainwater systems, canopies, feature detailing and associated envelope works.

Project Highlights:
Milestone: Hathaway’s 30th Costco project, continuing a relationship dating back to 1993.
Roof: Euroclad Elite PLUS 3 secret-fix standing seam roofing system, incorporating SF500 outer sheets and an insulated build-up achieving a 0.14 W/m²K U-value.
Walls: Kingspan KS1000RW vertically laid composite panels with a 115mm insulation core, achieving a 0.16 W/m²K U-value, finished in Costco Cream and RAL 7035 Grey.
Rainwater: Insulated boundary and valley gutter systems, together with PPC aluminium and steel rainwater pipes.
Additional Works: Roof penetrations and access hatches, internal parapet cladding, entrance and dock canopies, PPC aluminium feature band and associated coping flashings.
