Case Study
Developed for Diageo, Cluny Bond is a major whisky maturation and bonded storage facility in Fife, Scotland, comprising purpose-built warehouses designed for the long-term storage and maturation of Scotch whisky.
Working alongside main contractor ISG and architects Blyth & Blyth across successive phases, Hathaway delivered extensive roofing and external wall cladding packages to numerous warehouse buildings, contributing to the continued expansion of the complex over almost a decade.
The works incorporated a combination of Euroclad aluminium roofing systems and Kingspan insulated composite roof panels, alongside Euroclad aluminium wall cladding finished in the distinctive Van Dyke Brown colour scheme. Associated works included continuous ridge ventilation, valley and eaves gutters, architectural flashings and aluminium louvres.
Hathaway’s repeated involvement throughout the development demonstrates our experience in delivering large-scale industrial building envelopes across complex, multi-phase construction programmes.
