Morgan began his apprenticeship in Hathaway’s Drawing Office in 2025 and is working towards an HNC in Building Studies at Darlington College.
Day to day, Morgan produces roof and wall detail drawings for large-scale commercial warehouses while gaining a broad understanding of the design process.
“A highlight has been independently producing the wall and roof drawings for a Vehicle Maintenance Unit Building – a great confidence boost and valuable learning experience.”
Morgan believes learning on the job is one of the best ways to start a career in construction:
