Hathaway held our summer football match at Bishop Auckland Football Club. Comprising a mixture of head office, fabrication, and site employees, the teams lined up in bespoke Hathaway blue and red kits.
The game was an entertaining spectacle with a full time score of 3-1! Although many left their shooting boots at home, some still managed to find the back of net and it was great afternoon enjoyed by all.
The friendly post-match penalty shootout brought more tension than the last Euro’s final, with Hathaway Blues taking the cup!
A total of £579 was raised through the raffle for the Stroke Association and Shildon Alive, which has then been kindly charity matched by Hathaway bringing the grand total to £1,158!
