We’re proud to celebrate the achievement of our apprentice Fenic Couzens, who has achieved a distinction upon the successfull completion of the Level 2 Roofer, Sheeter Cladder Apprenticeship with Juniper Training.
This 18-month programme equips apprentices with the specialist skills and knowledge to work safely and effectively in the roofing industry. Focusing on sheeting and cladding, the training develops expertise in:
- Installing roofing materials and products at height on domestic, commercial, and public buildings.
- Interpreting drawings, measuring, and calculating materials to meet project specifications.
- Using and maintaining tools, equipment, and access systems safely and efficiently.
- Applying industry standards and codes of practice while meeting commercial speed and quality.
- Understanding principles of condensation control, common defects, repair and maintenance in roofing systems.
Alongside technical skills, apprentices develop key workplace behaviours including teamwork, adaptability, time management, and independent working, all vital for success on site.
Completion of this standard recognises them as a skilled craft operative, with progression opportunities into supervisory or management roles in the roofing and cladding sector.
Well done Fenic!
