Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Designer to join our established Design Team
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and Detail roofing and cladding systems including twin-skin, single ply & composite panel
systems.
· Produce project specific, 2D, working drawings and fabrication schedules
· Liaise closely with the project design team including the main contractors, architects, steelwork
contractors and siphonic drainage specialists.
· Attend design team meetings, both in person & online
· Coordinate with system manufacturers and suppliers
· Work collaboratively with internal departments
· Provide ongoing technical support to site installation teams
· Opportunity to progress into a senior role as part of the company's long-term growth plans
Experience and Skills Required:
· Must have a minimum of 8 years design experience within the roofing and cladding sector
· Must have a strong knowledge of building envelope systems including twin skin, single ply and
composite panel systems
· Must be proficient in 2D AutoCAD
· Must be IT literate with experience using Microsoft Office
· Must be highly motivated, proactive and detail-oriented
· Must be able to work independantly and as part of a team
· Must be capable of managing workloads to meet deadlines with a flexible, proactive approach
· Must have ONC / HNC in Construction or a related discipline
