Women in Construction Week is an opportunity to highlight the great initiatives and work of women within the industry and inspire more women to consider employment within the industry.
Female colleagues at Hathaway are hoping to raise awareness and inspire more women to consider a role within the industry by providing information on the roles they fulfil at Hathaway and what they enjoy about working in the construction industry and the opportunities it presents.
Our Women in Construction poster has been circulated to the local schools and colleges within the Bishop Auckland area to display on career noticeboards. We hope female students will ignore the typical gender stereotypes of the construction industry and consider a successful construction career.
