We are delighted to receive 3 Teamkal awards.
1st award - "New product application" - based on the use of emerging Kalzip products.
2nd award - "Best overall performing project" - based on value for money and quality of inspection.
3rd award - "Best of the Best". Congratulations to everyone involved in a very successful project.

Cycle to work scheme

Northern Counties Safety Group has presented us with awards for the "Best Large Company 2010" and "Training Achievement 2010". In addition, 5 of our Site Managers have been chosen by NCSG to receive a certificate for their exceptional contribution to health and safety standards on site during the period June 2009 - June 2010.

Following our Stage 2 BSI assessment on 9th & 10th November 2010, we are delighted to have achieved accreditation. This demonstrates our commitment to review and reduce our environmental impact. We are proactive in our approach and have measured our carbon footprint, introduced a new company car and fuel policy as well as sustainability training for our employees.
Health and Safety milestone reached - October 2010

We reached a milestone to be proud of, one million man hours worked without a reportable accident under RIDDOR (Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995). This is a superb achievement for a Company of our size, working in the high risk environment that we do. Tindale Crescent Golf Society Championship - 2011

Barnard Castle Golf Club was the host venue for this years event despite being the home club for some of the entrants.
In balmy summer conditions there was a good turnout of members and their guests.
Despite all our efforts Andrew Binks came out on top in a closely contested competition to secure the trophy.

Our employee social event to the Newcastle races went down well on Saturday 19th March 2011 for the St. Patricks race meeting. The weather held and there were some winners amongst us.Charity Events
Charity cycle ride Scotland to Shildon

Well done to Andy Harrison on completion of his sponsored cycle ride from Scotland to Shildon over the May 2011 bank holiday period (195 miles in total). Andy and his wife raised £1,325 for 4 charities.
